Evaluation Made Easy
Sponsored by Austin Community College
Center for Community Based & Nonprofit Organization

Does your organization have a great program or program idea but doesn’t know how to plan or pilot the program, promote the program to funders and the community, or measure its effectiveness or participant satisfaction?  Program evaluation can help with all of these things and more.  Understanding these concepts will help your organization provide effective services, meet your goals, and leverage needed resources to grow.

Upon completion of this workshop, participants will gain a clear understanding of the elements of a program or agency evaluation, what it is used for, and how it can help their organization.  Participants will be provided with templates and worksheets to help them plan their own program evaluation, or help them decide the type and complexity of an evaluation based on the organization’s size, resources, type of programming and use of evaluation.

Comments from Participants included:

"Nice relateable examples that I am going to steal!"

"I'd lover her to do another more advanced class. Really enjoyed it."

The Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders

This workshop was geared toward parents and examined all types of bullying, risk factors, and provided strategies to build resiliency in children being bullied, and increase empathy in children who might be bullies with an emphasis on issues particular to girls and young women.

This workshop geared toward girls, used interactive experiential learning activities to explore how communication can help (or hinder) our abilities to relay our needs and accomplish our goals.

Here's a picture of some of the girls at the conference eating lunch and waiting for this mascot to throw t-shirts.
It was so much fun to be able to talk with parents and students about bullying and communication.
